Valley
Engineering offer the complete cold store design and
construction package to meet the requirements of all
types of temperature controlled environments. Cold stores
available in all sizes and to control to a broad temperature
spectrum. Valley Engineering construct cold stores tailored
to meet the needs of the individual application and
offer maintenance and after sales service to ensure
your cold store is performing as efficiently as possible.
Valley
Engineering have designed and developed cold stores
from 50m3
to 20,000m3
matching size to refrigeration requirements whilst still
working with efficiency and cost in mind. Cold store
construction can effect your efficiency, product shelf
life and even insurance premiums so getting it right
first time is a must. With
an extensive knowledge of insulation and refrigeration
techniques Valley Engineering trained personnel are
able to produce temperature control from minus 30º
C to plus 6º C on time, to specification, whilst
considering all other effecting aspects. Experienced
in refit and refurbishment of existing cold stores has
made Valley Engineering adept at minimising the effects
of this type of project on production.
We have extensive experience in using using Glycol as
a cooling medium for our cold store cooling giving a
number of advantages.
-
No high-pressure refrigerant pipe work beyond the
plant room, reducing the risk of leaks in cold store
significantly.
-
Allows the use of different types of refrigerant
in the cold storage plant.
-
Increases efficiently due to better performance
refrigerant, particularly ammonia.
-
Better use of coolers due to more uniform temperature
of cooling surface.
-
Increase life expectancy of coolers as no defrost
cycle is required.
